How MyVideoCompress handles account data, video files, and task metadata.

MyVideoCompress processes videos using the workflow configured for the current deployment. Support and privacy questions can be sent to videocompress@usefull-app.com.
The compressor uses the source file, file name, media metadata, compression settings, task status, and result to complete a request. Depending on the active workflow, this data may remain within the current session or be sent to the configured processing infrastructure. When managed processing is enabled, video objects are kept in private R2 storage and task metadata is kept in D1. Video bytes are not written to database fields, cookies, or browser storage.
If you import a video URL, your browser requests that URL directly. The remote host can observe the request under its own privacy policy and must permit cross-origin downloads. The imported file is then handled by the active processing workflow.
If you create an account, the service stores the account and authentication data required by the enabled sign-in method. Account use is not required to use the compressor.
Hosting and security infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and error logs. The current first version does not enable advertising or behavioral analytics.
Video data is used only to validate media, run the requested compression, create the downloadable result, enforce service limits, secure cloud tasks, and diagnose failures. Hosting request information is used to deliver and secure the site and operate optional account features.
Temporary in-session results are released when the selection is removed or the page is refreshed or closed. When managed processing is enabled, source files are deleted after processing and compressed results expire 24 hours after task creation. Deleting a managed task removes its available objects.
Cloudflare hosts the application and provides D1, R2, Queues, and Containers for managed processing. jsDelivr may supply pinned video-engine files; that request contains no video data. Authentication or email providers are used only when those optional features are configured.
Each task handles only the selected video. Managed processing uses private object storage, owner-scoped task APIs, and short-lived signed transfer URLs. No software can promise absolute security; do not process material you are not authorized to use.
You can use the compressor without creating an account. Remove a video or close the page to discard temporary results. Managed tasks can be deleted while they remain available or left to expire automatically. Account holders can use the account settings supplied by the authentication system.
